Miniature Nativity scene in porcelaine that can be displayed for Christmas home decor and also used for King Cake. There are composed of 11 figurines: baby Jesus, Mary, Joseph, The Three Magi, an angel, 2 villagers (male and female) and 2 animals (sheep, ox, donkey,...).

Those are traditional figurines inspired by santons of Provence from the times of the French Revolution when churches were closed and people made little portable sets to celebrate Christmas at home.
Later they were made in porcelain and also used as traditional fèves "galette des rois"- Kings cake: whoever finds the fève in the cake becomes "royal" and has to offer another cake. Thus, throughout January (and sometimes later till Mardi Gras), people celebrate this lovely tradition within families, work places, amongst friends,...

The figurines are about 2.5 cm / 1 inch high. Pease choose in the menu option the Nativity set you prefer - there are more, please contact me if you have specific needs, if you would like more pictures or information.

They are in good condition with some minor signs of previous use. Please note that, as all small objects, they should be kept far from tiny hands as they are not toys suitable for very young children.

Your feves will be sent with tracking. I will combine shipping if you buy several and will reimburse overcharge.
